The One Time Saving Money Wasn't Fun to Me
March 25th 2008 11:05
As you probably know, this past weekend was Easter. What did I do? Laundry. Yes, it was very lame and boring.
I had planned on going to my hometown, but it's three hours away, and I had to work on Saturday until 5pm. Also, everyone got sick. So, long story short, I stayed in my new town doing laundry.
I saved probably $50 by not doing any driving. But I think it would have been worth $50 to see my family and not be in a crappy mood most of Sunday. (Although with the close games of March Madness I forgot about it for a little bit).
Was there ever a time you would have rather spent money than saved it?
