Survey "Site-ings" (pt. 1)

About a year ago I started joining survey sites to make money. While you won’t get rich off of these sites, you can make some money. For example, since last year (around June) I have made more than $150 from taking surveys. This is not a lot of money obviously, but for the amount of effort I put into it (mouse clicks—and sometimes a few explanations), it’s great money.
In this series, which I have entitled “Survey ‘Site-ings,’” I will discuss all the survey sites I have joined, how they work, and what I like and dislike about them.
www.surveyspot.com – This is my favorite site out of all of them. They send the most surveys, and respond to emails in a timely manner. I do recommend keeping emails for the surveys you’ve completed in case more than 6 weeks passes and you haven’t been compensated. This has only happened once to me over the course of a year, and they fixed the problem right away after a quick email. They have surveys sent through the email, as well as a link you can click on at their website to see four at a time that you may want to try.
In each email sent there is a 6 digit number that you need when it hasn’t shown up under “unclaimed rewards.” This is the number you’ll need if you ever have to email questions to them about a survey. The email also tells the topic of the survey, approximately how long the survey should take, and what the amount is that you will receive after you fully complete it. Some of these are entries into the sweepstakes, but others range in amounts starting at $1 and going up to $20. (They may go higher, but a $20 is the highest I’ve seen).
They don’t have a referral system, but I have told a couple of my friends about it and they have made some decent money too.
I have requested my money from them before, and they do send their checks on time.
Check back later for when I cover another survey site! Happy money making!
*Always be sure to check the FAQ pages for survey sites for any other information you may need or want. I’ve tried to only join ones that don’t sell my information to others, but I may have missed something, so you should also read the privacy policy and terms of service for each site yourself.
