College of Cash - finding money for college

Joining Another Survey Site

February 1st 2008 12:48
I have officially joined Pinecone Research. I have heard only good things about them and I finally got a chance to join. After I know a little bit more about them myself I will have a post specifically for them and put them into the Survey Site Archives.

Just a reminder that only one person per household can join the survey sites. That means if you have a lot of money sitting in your account and someone else in your house registers you will lose all that money. (At least I think that's how it works. They may just tell the new member that they cannot register. However, I wouldn't like to find out which way it goes).

I hope you all are finding success with the survey groups. You can always email me if you have any questions!

Greenfield Online Update

January 25th 2008 12:16
(Greenfield Online main post). I have two updates for this survey site. One is that they started allowing payments to be made through paypal! yay! The other is that I have now officially received a payment from them. (And it was through paypal of course).

That means there are only a couple of survey sites left that I cannot vouch for yet. To check them all out go to the survey site archives.

Update on Mysurvey

January 21st 2008 15:13
Good news for mysurvey.com - I can now vouch for the fact that they pay! I just got my check in the mail this weekend. I am now $10 richer. Well, probably like $10 less poor, haha!

Happy money making!

2008 Survey Earnings Update for Jan. 15

January 15th 2008 12:12
After keeping track of my survey earnings every week last month, I decided this month to do it twice. Once in the middle of the month and then at the end. So here is the first.

I'm starting as if I had begun with $0 waiting for me to cash out. Mostly because I requested a lot of the money I had been saving. Then there is the problem of clearvoicesurveys.com that doesn't pay by check anymore. So I won't be including their surveys in the amount I've made each month.

In my goals I mentioned I wanted to make $20 this month from survey money. How much have I made so far? $10.25. I had two $3 surveyspot surveys, a survey from globaltestmarket and one frommindfieldonline. None of the surveys were very long, and since I haven't found a job yet I figured it didn't really matter how much time I spent on them.

I will need another $9.75 during the second half of the month to make my goal. It should happen because I'm also in the middle of a $10 survey from mysurvey.

For all the sites I've tried visit the survey site archives. Any other questions can be posted in the comment section or always feel free to email me!

Quick Update on Survey Sites

January 13th 2008 16:32
survey check
In the Survey Site Archives I have an "*" next to all of the survey sites I've actually received a check from. Last week I requested money from some of them that I have received money from before, plus a couple new sites that I hadn't requested from before. Each time I receive a check (or paypal) from a place I could vouch for before I will post a quick update about it and add an "*" to the Survey Site Archives.

Look forward to a Survey Earnings Update soon!

I thought I should update you all on one of the survey sites I wrote about a while ago. Clearvoicesurveys.com no longer appears to pay in cash. The choices are emagazine, dining dough, or amazon.com. The new thing they have instead of a check is payoneer which is a "prepaid debit mastercard."

I don't know if any of you have signed up for this one or not. I had just gone there to request my check and found out I couldn't. I may wait for a while to see if they switch back. (They paid by paypal when I first signed up, then switched to check and now this).

December Survey Earnings Update

December 31st 2007 19:01
money
I had almost made my goal in survey earnings by the second week of December (short by 56 cents). That's why last Thursday I decided to skip the update and do it at the end of the month.

So, the last time I updated I had: $242.04

Survey Earnings Update for Dec. 20th

Apparently I should have set a higher goal for survey money this month. I didn't think I was making more than $20 each month so I thought $30 would be a slight reach. I guess I was wrong, but I'm okay with that!

Let's take a look at last week: $228.84

Survey "Site-ings" (pt. 14)

December 10th 2007 20:59
The site I'm going to cover today isn't exactly a survey site. Sometimes they have a one question "survey" on their main page that you can answer and get 5 points. In the beginning, when you first sign up there are "profile surveys" you can fill out for a total of 60 points. These are really the only "surveys" they have. However, you can earn points other ways and get gift cards!

The site I'm talking about is www.mypoints.com. I started doing this a few months ago after reading about it on the SmartSpending msn.com message board
