Survey "Site-ings" (pt. 15)
February 26th 2008 11:09
I announced a little while ago that I had joined pinecone research. By now it's time for an update on how they function.
Pinecone Research can only be joined when you happen to see one of their banners that says they are open to new people. Or, the way I found it was to use the freebie site I mentioned in the Free Stuff?? post: "afreebieempire." I subscribe to that email and it was through one of those emails I joined pinecone.
So far, I've gotten three surveys from them. One I've been paid for, the other I couldn't complete (it had a video that my computer didn't agree with or something), and the third I should be paid for soon. In their emails, they don't tell you how much the survey is actually worth. I assumed the two I did were for $3, (the first was, so I was right!), because they were not very long. That bothers me a little, but I guess I can live with it. They also come with your username and password since those are both randomly assigned letters and numbers.
I have been paid by them, as I mentioned in one of the survey updates. So they are legit, but you can probably tell that already since you may have heard about pinecone on various other PF blogs!
That is pretty much all you need to know about pinecone. Happy money making!
*Always be sure to check the FAQ pages for survey sites for any other information you may need or want. I’ve tried to only join ones that don’t sell my information to others, but I may have missed something, so you should also read the privacy policy and terms of service for each site yourself.
For all the previous survey sites I’ve covered click here.
