Survey "Site-ings" (pt. 14)

The site I'm going to cover today isn't exactly a survey site. Sometimes they have a one question "survey" on their main page that you can answer and get 5 points. In the beginning, when you first sign up there are "profile surveys" you can fill out for a total of 60 points. These are really the only "surveys" they have. However, you can earn points other ways and get gift cards!
The site I'm talking about is www.mypoints.com. I started doing this a few months ago after reading about it on the SmartSpending msn.com message board.
For this one, it is basically one of those "sign up and shop through here to earn points" programs. However, I haven't spent any money shopping. (I may sometime much later when I actually have a job that pays decent money!) I have 1,560 points right now. That would get me a $10 gift card with some points left over.
The thing is, they send you emails, many times there are 3 or more a day. They'll say "earn 5 points just for visiting!" So I visit. Then I click off the site. Simple. Other times they have games where you can earn some points. For example, right now they have this "Snow Me" game going on where the "snow" fogs the "windows" and you wipe each of the four "windows" off with a mitten. If you get three windows that say "5 points" you get five points. Most of the time it will show you a store icon and have a "special" going on for that store. If that happens I just ignore it and go back the next day to try.
This is an easy way to get gift cards for yourself or others.
Anyway, I'm putting this under the "survey sites archives" because I don't want it to just get lost in the shuffle. You can get gift cards just like with epoll.com which is a regular survey site. If you have a separate account for all the survey sites, I would use that email for this as well.
