Saturday Links for 3/1/08
March 1st 2008 10:42
Somehow I forgot to participate in any of the finance carnivals for the week. I'm not quite sure how that happened, but oh well. I've found plenty of good links this week anyway!
The first one is "Becoming a Marketable English Major" at Mrs. Micah. Of course I like this one because I have a degree in English! haha
There is some good stuff in there if you are an English major, and if not, an internship for any major is a good idea.
Poorer than you has an ask the readers post, should she get a bike? And does anyone have good information on what type? Since this is supposed to be a college-themed blog, and she's still in college, I figured a link to her made sense.
Again with the college related thing, I will teach you to be rich tells us that Standford is now basically free. If you're looking at colleges now (or in the near future), check that out.
This next post I just liked because it's fabulously broke in the city's "closet." She's selling some stuff to make money to donate to charity and to pay off some debt. I liked the shoes, but my feet are too big! haha
And finally, what would you do if you knew you couldn't fail? That's a good question and I'm not sure of the answer yet. There are plenty of good comments answering the question at the end of that post, so be sure to check some of them out too.
Enjoy the weekend!
