November 2007 Goals

If you look around the blogosphere, whenever there is a net worth update, a list of goals for the coming month follows. I thought this would be a good time to start doing that myself.
1) Net worth increase of more than $121. ($121 is what I had this month, so I would like to beat that). Maybe I should bump that up to $150 – this is my birthday month, so there is sure to be some money involved!
2) Get my EF up to $1100. (It currently stands at $1067.20)
3) I should also start saving up for Christmas presents. I don’t know how well this will go, but I’ll try. I don’t think I’ll even put an amount on this one.
Well, that is about all the goals I can really have until I get a regular paying job. When the amount I make is different every single time, it is hard to make plans and goals about money. There isn’t anything I could “cut spending” on, because I use my campus card to buy all my food at the school. I don’t buy gas except once a month – November’s gas buying will happen around Thanksgiving when I have to drive the three hours home.
Those are my three goals. Hopefully next month I will be able to make some better ones!
