New Scholarship - Create Your Own Scholarship - Win $4000
October 15th 2007 14:41
There is a new scholarship called Create Your Own Scholarship, presented by Fastweb.com and Citibank.
From the main page:
"Tell us about the scholarship you'd like to create and FastWeb members will vote for their favorite idea. The winner receives a $4,000 scholarship to give away plus an additional $4,000 to keep for themselves. You make the scholarship, you vote for it, and FastWeb pays for it!"
You have to be a member of fastweb.com to submit an idea. That's okay though, because it's free. (I wrote about fastweb in a previous article).
I already have two ideas to submit to this contest, which starts today! The last day to submit ideas is October 28th. After they narrow the selections down to twelve finalists, the voting will begin. That happens November 5th and ends November 19th.
Other important information can be found in the FAQ section. Things like, you can submit more than one idea, and you can vote for you own entry if it's a finalist, you can vote once every 24 hours, etc.
The rules (aka legal jargon stuff) can be found here.
Good luck with your entries!
