Helping Others
July 11th 2007 17:33
Sorry for the late post today. I had some morning errands to run.
I post on this site a lot about how to make more money for yourself or how to save money. Today is about giving money to others.
There is a simple way that I do this that doesn't cost me anything. It's called goodsearch. This website is actually powered by Yahoo! and each search you do raises money for whichever cause you choose. Under the search bar there is a little blurb that says "Who do you goodsearch for?" and you can type in your charity to see if it is listed. There are many to choose from. I actually have mine set to a local no-kill animal shelter.
Many of you have probably heard of this before, but I just wanted to put it out there for those that hadn't. Just use it to find the things you would normally look for and you help someone else out in the process!
Happy Giving!

Although, at goodsearch searches for pictures or videos don't count. But there is also a button you can click to see how much money your cause has raised.
