Goals for December 2007 (and a Look Back at Nov. Goals)
December 3rd 2007 12:05
Let's start with how well I did with November's goals.
Goal #1: Net worth increase of more than $121. Check! It's up by $469.
Goal #2: EF increase up to $1100. Check. Thanks to my birthday it's up to $1727.
Goal #3: Start saving for Christmas presents. I didn't exactly do this. But I have gift cards on the way via rewards points from the tuition cards!
So I am 2 for 3 and the third one didn't count because I found a way to not pay for gifts! (The parents always get gift cards because I figure they don't need random junk to just take up space. And they are the only people I buy presents for).
Now for some new goals.
1) Net worth increase of $100. I'm making this small because of the no-job-lined-up-yet thing. If I get any increase for this month I will be ecstatic.
2) Don't touch the EF. I will try to make enough money from my student jobs in the first two weeks of this month so that I won't have to take money out to pay rent or anything else.
3) Make at least $30 from surveys this month. Since I've started tracking my weekly amount on Thursdays, this should be easy. The last Thursday in Nov. had $199.40. That means I'll need to get $229.40 by the end of December.
In January, I plan on cashing out as much as I can. If I have a job by then, it will all go to previously mentioned tuition cards.
