Gas Prices are Terrible

Everyone knows. Everyone talks about it. But I want to include my rant on the subject as well.
I think I've only paid for gas twice when it has been over $3.00. (I always try and wait it out until it gets to at least $2.99). I had to buy gas last Thursday, because the little orange light came on. The price? $3.07. I drove past the two gas stations on my way to work (which were 3.16 and 3.19) and went to the one that was around the corner from my work. (The other branch of work, not the one I walk to).
I put in a total of $5.00. haha! I only had $11 in my account, and didn't want to use my credit card. Plus I was hoping gas would go down. No such luck.
Now it's like $3.26 or some crazy number.
The only reason I even need it to go down is so I can visit my family for Easter. If this was a month without a holiday I could probably get by with $10 worth of gas in my car for the whole month. Which is awesome because I have my budget for gas at $30 a month. But I think I'll be spending $40 this month. (haha I know some of you are like ONLY $40???!!! I SPEND MORE THAN THAT IN ONE TRIP TO THE GAS STATION!! But I have a small budget and walk to work twice a week).
Anyway, this was mostly a rant. I'm crossing my fingers gas can at least go back to $3.07 in the next two weeks. If it gets below the $3.00 mark I'm filling up then! haha
