Friday Links and Updates for Aug. 17th
August 17th 2007 18:25
I just found this to be an interesting story. Maybe if I had gotten paid to take those tests I would have actually taken them too. As I recall, my friends who took those tests hoping for college credit had to pay. Unless I'm getting two different tests mixed up?
A post from Clever Dude called, "Is the thought of debt ruling your life?" sparked my interest. But I wrote down my goals already.
One thing I think you should check out are the MSN money boards. I've probably written about them before, but they are good reads, even if you're not looking to learn anything new. My favorites are "SmartSpending" and "WomenInRed."
As for updates, yesterday's post has an update already. When I went to look at that new card's website again, it said my credit limit was $3,000! That's not exactly what I wanted, but for now, I'll take it. (I had applied online for a credit limit increase and asked them for $6,500).
I hope all of you are having better luck financing your tuition!
