Finding a Job

Fastweb, that I've mentioned many times before, has led me to another interesting discovery. MonsterTrak has a "Major to Career Converter."
Here's how it works:
-From the first page you choose your major (mine was English/creative writing).
-The next page has a list of job titles to the left of careers you could have with your major. I only chose three that I would actually like to do. On the right of this page, there is a location search and a category search. I ignored the category search, but for the location search I clicked on the top for "select all." No need to be picky about where I will live.
-After you've selected everything you want, click on "Search Jobs." It will come up with many pages of jobs, put in reverse chronological order (so the most recently posted ones are on the top).
If you have just graduated and haven't quite found what you're looking for this is a great tool. If you are like me, and are graduating soon this is also fantastic. I think it could be helpful for those just starting college and are not sure what they might like to do. They could use this search to choose majors and see what types of jobs they could do with those majors. Basically I'm in love with this tool!
Good luck in your job search!
