Fantasy Stock Market Game

If you’ve ever wondered what the Stock Market would be like, here’s your chance to try it out. Young Money magazine offers a Fantasy Stock Market game. The stakes? One winner every month gets a Sharebuilder starter kit and a subscription to Young Money. Even if you don’t win, it’s fun to see how your stocks would do every month.
This is a great way to learn about the stock market without spending lots of money. The best way to learn is to do, and this definitely qualifies.
You have to register on youngmoney.com, but this is free. After that, you’re free to participate! You begin with $10,000 and can “buy” many of the stocks that you could in real life. (A few are not included; they have the rules on the website for which ones don’t qualify).
I apparently am not so good at this, I haven't made it back above the original $10,000 mark yet.
