Best Posts of Summer
September 11th 2007 15:52
I decided to highlight some of the better or more interesting posts I’ve written this summer, without taking too much from under the “Popular Posts” category on the left-hand side. They are, of course, all about making money or saving money!
If you’ve read them before, it’s always nice to re-read things (wink wink) and for those of you who haven’t, I hope you’ll read and enjoy them!
In no particular order:
Why Amazon.com is My Best Friend Right Now – shows the steps I took to only spending $43 on school books for my last semester in college!
Job Search - was a sort-of continuation of an earlier post deciding what the next course of action would be if I didn’t get an on-campus job.
Why It Pays to be a Good Worker – explores the idea of always working hard for a company even when you think no one is looking. I could add to this post saying I got a $250 bonus when I left for my last semester of college.
Why Don’t People Want Free Money – a mini-rant because I still don’t know why people don’t like free money. It’s FREE people! Haha!
Why I Only Pay $10 a Month for My Cell Phone – I look at all the things people have on their cell phones that they probably have elsewhere and thus, don’t need to pay extra for!
5 Ways to Keep Dorm Life Cheaper – I listed five items you will probably need, (or at least want to buy), when you go off to college and how to get them cheaper!
Other links you should check out that are highlighted on the left already:
survey sites archives for those of you looking to make a little extra side money
college list archives for those of you researching colleges and their scholarships and financial aid packages.
Happy reading!
